Shore Protection with Sheet Piles and Pipe Piles
Shore protection is carried out to protect the coastline from erosion, soil sliding, and water impact. Such works are required on sections of rivers, canals, water bodies, industrial areas, berthing zones, and transport infrastructure facilities.
As main solutions, sheet pile walls made of Larsen sheet piles and pipe pile structures are used. They form a strong enclosure, hold the soil mass, and allow stabilising the bank even on complex waterlogged sections.
We select the technology taking into account the geology, water level, calculated loads, driving depth, and equipment access conditions. Depending on the task, we perform vibratory driving or static pressing of sheet piles, installation of a waling beam, anchoring, concreting, backfilling, and associated hydraulic engineering works.
Result for the customer — an engineering-based shore protection structure designed for the actual site conditions and further operation of the territory.
